WHO
Manny Ramirez is a former collegiate baseball player from Pearland, Texas, and a highly respected coach and athlete in the Houston area. He has helped hundreds of athletes advance to the next level and remains committed to developing players for years to come. Coach Manny is a full-time instructor who provides year-round baseball and softball lessons, hosts camps and clinics in collaboration with colleges, and coaches select baseball and softball teams.
WHY
Manny was coached by his father, Ivan Ramirez, who passed away in 2024. Ivan played baseball throughout his life, including several seasons at the professional level. After retiring as a player, he dedicated himself to coaching baseball and softball, founding the Texas Magic organization. Following his father’s passing, Manny assumed leadership of the organization, continuing his father’s legacy by coaching and developing athletes with the same passion and commitment.
PLAYING CAREER
Manny played high school baseball at Manvel High School, where he earned numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. He served as the team’s starting second baseman and was also a member of the pitching rotation. Offensively, Manny posted a batting average above .300 and finished among the team leaders in on-base percentage. On the mound, he recorded an ERA under 2.50 and ranked among the top pitchers in strikeouts.
After graduating, Manny competed in the Perfect Game Collegiate League in Tomball, Texas. Shortly thereafter, he was selected to represent his country as a member of Team Mexico, serving as a right-handed pitcher and utility player. Following success at the high school, travel ball, and collegiate league levels, Manny went on to play college baseball in Texas/Oklahoma. Although his playing career was cut short due to a career-ending elbow injury, he remains grateful for the opportunity to compete at the highest level of the game.
COACHING CAREER
Manny is the current Owner and Director of the Texas Magic Fastpitch organization in Pearland, Texas. Prior to assuming leadership of Texas Magic, he worked with multiple professional baseball organizations and leagues, most recently with a team in the American Association. Manny has coached teams to success in numerous tournaments and showcases, while also organizing and directing his own tournaments, camps, and clinics.
In addition, Manny serves as the Player Development Coach in the Hustle Fastpitch Organization and was Hitting Coach for the Team Mexico Women’s Softball Team after playing for the Team Mexico Men's Baseball team in '23.
ELITE TRAINING FACILITY
ETF is just outside of Downtown Houston where Manny trains over 50 athletes a week from little league to the professional level. ETF owned by Luis Zapien is an amazing facility with all black turf and a team full of highly qualified instructors from baseball to softball trainers ETF is the best facility in Houston! It is a new facility that just opened in June of 2025 and it is really moving along fast, with a centralized location with little to no traffic and nearby restaurants, bars and activities to do.
SOCIAL MEDIA BASE
Manny records almost all of his lessons to make social media videos to spread his knowledge to coaches and players around the world. On TikTok he has over 30K followers and videos up to 5 million views! WHAT HE OFFERS
Coach Twin offers hitting, pitching, fielding and catching lessons for both baseball and softball in person and virtually! If you aren't a baseball or softball player he also offers strength and conditioning sessions. Manny has helped over 150 with his private lesson, he has worked with athletes from the league level to the professional level. Manny teaches his hitters to hit hard line drives up the middle, pitchers to throw strikes and fielders to work through the ball while being accurate with their arms.
